Emergency crews were called to the crash just west of Morgantown in Lancaster County along Route I-76 around 1 p.m.
The westbound lanes have been closed between the Denver, Lancaster County, and Morgantown exits.
The number of vehicles involved and the extent of injuries are unknown.
